MailSteward: an answer to disappearing mail in Apple mail

Recently I’ve noticed a bug in Apple mail in which some of my email disappears. Others have written about this (see Google). As a result I’ve begun using this archiving utility to keep download backups of my mail.

RTW this encryption program in built into OSX, along with Crypt. PC users can get Winguard Pro. Crypt does files, File Vault does folders. But watch out for backup programs which hare confused by it. Be sure to get only password protected flash drives.
