MIT-born startup Embr Labs blows past Kickstarter goal for personalized wrist ‘thermostat’ 

The company, which is backed by Intel Capital and Bose Ventures, first gained attention for its temperature-controlling wristbands several years ago. Now it looks ready to put more than 1,000 on the arms of customers.
