Awhile ago during a particularly tough heating season with oil prices through the roof I began to look into alternatives. One easy to spot one was the miraculous claims made, usually in the back of magazines, from direct marketed space heaters such a the Eden Pure stating that they could replace our entire boiler at a lower cost per BTU. So, before you go running out to buy space heaters to heat your house, here is a good article dispelling these claims.
